In order to achieve a good anti-seepage effect in the artificial lake, three anti-seepage materials are used for anti-seepage comparison. The anti-seepage membrane material has good anti-seepage performance, strong adaptability to deformation, light material, convenient transportation, and strong corrosion resistance. It has the advantages of simple construction, short construction period and low cost.
1. Geomembrane anti-seepage
Geomembrane is an anti-seepage material made of high molecular polymer as the basic raw material. Its main function is to prevent liquid leakage and gas volatilization. The raw material of geomembrane is a polymer chemical flexible material with small specific gravity, strong extensibility, high adaptability to deformation, good corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance and frost resistance. Among them, HDPE anti-seepage membrane has the highest amount and the lowest permeability. The main function of geomembrane in geotechnical engineering is anti-seepage and isolation, and it also has the function of strengthening and protection. This measure is mainly used for anti-seepage of earth-rock dams, rockfill dams, masonry dams, concrete dams, tailings dams, sewage reservoir dams and reservoir areas, channels, liquid storage tanks, etc., and anti-seepage of subways, basements and tunnels Lining, anti-seepage of road, railway foundation, etc.
2. Composite geomembrane anti-seepage
Composite geomembrane is a composite geotechnical anti-seepage material composed of plastic film as the anti-seepage base material and non-woven fabric. Its anti-seepage performance mainly depends on the anti-seepage performance of the plastic film. Its main mechanism is: use the impermeability of the plastic film to block the leakage channel of the earth dam, withstand the water pressure and adapt to the deformation of the dam body with its large tensile strength and elongation; non-woven fabric is also a kind of polymer short fiber Chemical materials, formed by needle punching or thermal bonding, have high tensile strength and elongation; after it is combined with plastic film, it not only increases the tensile strength and puncture resistance of the plastic film, but also because the surface of the non-woven fabric Roughness also increases the friction coefficient of the contact surface, which is beneficial to the stability of the composite geomembrane and the protective layer. At the same time, they have good corrosion resistance to bacteria and chemicals, and are not afraid of acid, alkali, and salt erosion. The main function of geomembrane in geotechnical engineering is anti-seepage and isolation, and it also has the function of strengthening and protection. Its main application scope is similar to that of geomembrane.
3. Bentonite composite waterproof pad seepage prevention
Bentonite Clay (GCL) is a composite material made of bentonite powder sandwiched between two layers of geosynthetics by needle punching, bonding or sewing, and is mainly used for sealing, isolation or anti-seepage. The main component of GCL is the bentonite powder layer, which has high expansibility and high water absorption capacity, and has very low water permeability when wet. The geosynthetics wrapped outside the bentonite are generally non-woven geotextiles, or woven geotextiles or geomembranes, mainly for protection and reinforcement. Generally, polyester filament needle-punched geotextiles or short-fiber needle-punched geotextiles are used to sandwich bentonite powder in the middle, and are reinforced together by acupuncture to form bentonite mats, which are mainly used in anti-seepage projects (such as urban landfills) anti-seepage, anti-seepage of various water conservancy projects, etc.).
4. Comparison of anti-seepage effect
Compared with a single geomembrane, the composite geomembrane has the following advantages: It improves the mechanical strength of the geomembrane such as tensile strength, tear resistance, and burst resistance; under the same stress, the elongation decreases and the modulus increases. Large; tends to be isotropic, avoiding geomembrane damage during freezing and thawing of the underlying soil; easy to distribute pressure and avoid local stress concentration; easy to dissipate pore water pressure and buoyancy force on the contact between geomembrane and soil; improve geomembrane The friction performance increases its stability. The composite geomembrane improves the engineering performance of the film, simplifies the construction procedure, and can ensure the construction quality. Most of the water conservancy projects use it as an anti-seepage material. GCL is a new type of anti-seepage material, which makes the application scope, waterproof index and detection method of GCL imperfect in the "JG/T193-2006" specification, and even stipulates that artificial sodium bentonite can be used as raw material. Before the release of this specification, experts and scholars had put forward opposite conclusions on the basis of theoretical analysis and aging tests, and had learned from failures in landfill construction.
