HDPE geomembrane construction requirements:
a. The grass, roots and all hard substances should be removed according to the progress of the whole project. The mat should not be flat, there should be no raised wrinkles, and the geomembrane should not be damaged.
b. For the soft part, excavate, backfill and compact it. All items that may damage the HDPE geomembrane (such as nails, wood, protrusions, etc.) on the site should be removed before the HDPE geomembrane is laid. In order to prevent artificial damage to the geomembrane, construction personnel are prohibited from wearing hard-soled shoes or spikes, and it is forbidden to throw debris on the geomembrane.
c. After leveling the site, pave according to the road construction drawings approved by the engineer, and set up the working platform and anchor trench (1000mm1000mm) according to the terrain of the site. The excavation and backfilling of the anchor trench should meet the safety and firmness requirements of the earthwork membrane.
d. After laying the geomembrane and geotextile, cover the ground of the landfill warehouse with 50 cm of clay and 40 cm of small-grained gravel, and cover the side slope with 50 cm of hard clay within 15 meters of the toe line to protect HDPE geomembranes are not damaged.
e. Before overlapping on site, remove foreign objects (such as soil, sand, etc.) in the overlapping parts. The overlapping joints should be staggered. . When laying geomembrane, you can put emery cloth on the membrane to prevent strong wind from drying the geomembrane and protect the geomembrane from damage. F. In order to ensure the welding quality of the earthwork membrane, clean the welding surface of the earthwork membrane. Adjust the welding temperature and line welding speed at any time according to the air temperature, wind direction and wind force. Frequently remove the residue of geomembrane material attached to the surface of the rubber wheel of the welding machine and the surface of the hot wedge to keep the surface clean. When welding, the base is flat and hard, and the seam overlapping surface is flat to avoid uneven welding folds.
